Samsung Electronics Co. on Sunday unveiled at CES 2024 the world’s first transparent MicroLED display.

showcased the transparent display side-by-side with transparent OLED and transparent LCD models to highlight the differences between the technology, but did not disclose its price or when it will be available to consumers.
Samsung’s MicroLED panel featured a frameless design and more transparent glass panel that made it easier to see objects behind it.
The South Korean electronics giant also introduced several AI-powered smart home appliances that include an induction cooktop, washer-and-dryer combo, slide-in range, and refrigerator.
Shares of Samsung jumped 4.6% in regular trading Monday.
