Apple Inc. stock falls Wednesday, still outperforms market

Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL shed 0.50% to $176.57 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around poor trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP falling 1.15% to 13,474.63 and Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 0.52% to 34,765.74.

This was the stock’s second consecutive day of losses.
