Salesforce kicks off Dreamforce with products to leverage AI while protecting customer data

Salesforce Inc. Chair and Chief Executive Marc Benioff on Tuesday told attendees of the company’s Dreamforce conference that the company isn’t interested in making money off customer data, but in protecting that data when it’s used in artificial-intelligence applications.

“The AI revolution is a trust revolution,” Benioff told attendees during his keynote address Tuesday. “Your data is not our product.”
