MAN Truck & Bus Signs Framework Agreement With Austrian Federal Procurement Agency

MAN Truck & Bus has signed a framework agreement with the Austrian Federal Procurement Agency for the supply of municipal trucks after a bidding process was concluded in March and April.
The German brand, which is part of Volkswagen subsidiary Traton, will act as a general contractor for seven years with an estimated volume of up to 1,700 units, the company said Wednesday.

Customers from the public sector are now allowed to place their orders under the framework agreement according to their fleet necessities, MAN said.
Units include winter service vehicles, garbage trucks, sewer flushers and emergency vehicles, among others.
