Vast Resources shares rose Wednesday after the company said it had received a notification that Barclays Bank has increased its shareholding to 8.04%, a stake worth around 860,279 pounds ($1.1 million) based on Tuesday’s closing market cap.
Shares at 0758 GMT were up 0.03 pence, or 9.1%, at 0.36 pence.
The mining company said Barclays Bank had a previous stakeholding of around 6.15%. Based on Tuesday’s closing market cap of GBP10.7 million, the prior stake would have been worth around GBP658,050.
